To EXPLORE. Take the kids to Silverwood. Bike the Hiawatha, Hike Mineral Ridge, take a day to bike the Trail of the Couer D'Alenes and bring a picnic lunch. Rent a boat, take the Lake Cruise. Our Lake home sits on a small hillside and boasts amazing lake views from two large decks as well as most rooms in our home. Our decks are west facing, they have warm sun (except for some shade from the towering pines) and we have unbelievable sunsets! The outdoor seating is plentiful, so all of you can enjoy the beautiful outdoors whether eating or just watching the sunset.
There is a quiet public beach & dock(water is clear and refreshing) with a primitive boat launch less than a mile down the road. It is usually quiet and unattended on most days. Carlin Bay and Eddies at Arrow Point also offer great beaches and swimming areas that are open to the public and they are just a few miles down the road to either side. Overnight Dock rental is $30 a night at Arrow Point, 4 miles away.
Rent a pontoon or ski boat in Harrison or Coeur D'Alene, they even deliver to Turner bay! (a mile away)
We are conveniently located halfway between Harrison and Coeur D'Alene.....Harrison is also a great place to visit. Great sandy beach/park, boat rentals, restaurants, ice cream and the infamous 'Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes' bike trail that follows the lake.
Our house is only one of a few on our quiet lane, and is the last at the end of the dirt road. We have abundant wildlife, including turkey, deer, fox, coyote, bald eagles,osprey, moose, elk, etc...
Two of our Three Bedroom offer expansive lake views and sliders to the deck. Our king bedroom features a new tempurpedic mattress, slider to the deck & the queen mattress is new as well, it also has slider to the deck with lake views. The 3rd bedroom has a twin and twin over full bunk bed, so it is a great place for the kids to play or sleep. Each floor has a family room and full bath. Great for families or couples sharing the home.
Our home also offers fun for the kids, there is a train set, darts, foosball and airhockey tables. There are televisions with satellite in both living area levels.
